Omega World Studies

My name is Cody Sherburn. I was raised in Collinsville, Oklahoma. For those of you that don't know where that is, if you go to Tulsa and drive about 20 minutes North, you will run into a sign that directs you to two places, Skiatook and Collinsville. Take a right and welcome yourself to Collinsville. 

I graduated from Oklahoma State in 2013. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Social Studies. I am currently working on my Mater's Degree in Educational Technology. I will graduate from that program in December of 2014. 

In 2015, I am getting married to the love of my life. Her name is Laura. We met in one of the classes we had together at OSU. We have been dating for a year and a half. We got engaged in March of this year and plan on getting married on June 13, 2015. We are both super excited!

This is my first public school to teach at. I have taught classes at OSU as a Graduate Assistant. So I have some experience. 

I am also a HUGE fan of the TV show Survivor. I have tried out to be on the show twice, and plan to keep on trying out until I eventually get on. Trust me, I am persistent. I have watched the show since I was 10 years old, and haven't missed an episode yet. 

I am looking forward to getting to work with all of the students. This is going to be a great year and a fun class.
